A double distinction for our mental health initiatives

At the 2022 HR Awards, which were held at the Athens Concert Hall, on Tuesday, November 1, we received two very important distinctions. More specifically, in the "Best Mental Health Initiatives" category we won a Gold Award for the Break the Stigma initiative and the Bronze Award for our innovative Parents’ School program. The HR Awards, which were held for the eighth consecutive year and are an important institution in local Human Resource Management, reward the most important achievements in the activities of companies for their employees. Our awards The Break the Stigma initiative, for which we received the Gold Award, aims to help our employees discover ways to improve their daily lives and take care of their mental health. It is essentially about an intensive effort to address the "stigma" of fear, caused by prejudices, stereotypes or discrimination. Break the Stigma mainly includes activities related to awareness of mental health issues, such as experiential workshops, exercises and special sessions that promote a holistic approach to wellness. Examples include training seminars on self-improvement (Growth Mindset), self-awareness (Mindfulness) and Time Management. The Bronze Award was given to the Parents’ School program, which aims to help our company's working parents improve their work-life balance in the most effective way. The program focuses on issues that parents, especially of young children, often face and it seeks to guide them so that they can deal with the difficulties they come across in their daily lives. At the same time, through Parents’ School, we provide mental health support to our employees, with educational material and the participation of specialized professionals. The two awards were collected by our Head of HR, Rest of Europe, Eugenia Melea, who said: "For all of us, the physical and mental health, but also the work-life balance of our employees, is a top priority and a primary daily goal. We are very proud that our philosophy is being rewarded. We are firmly committed to creating a healthy and fair working environment for everyone." We’re investing in our people For all of us, these important distinctions underline the great effort that is being made to highlight the values of inclusion and respect for diversity. These are the values we seek to incorporate every day in all of our business practices and actions. We firmly believe that respecting, strengthening, and rewarding our people is essential to our success. Our goal is to continue at the same pace and receive more awards as this will give us the impetus to further develop our work and bring about more innovation.
