When we talk about a greener future it is necessary to consider a multitude of actors: in addition to the big energy players, the role of governments and institutions is becoming more and more important. It is becoming increasingly clear, however, that the role of another set of actors is also fundamental, namely that of companies. Whether they are large, medium or small, their future is inextricably linked to a change concerning the environment. The question is whether this change will occur rapidly or whether enterprises will need time to get on the right track to becoming greener businesses.
