Cloudwalker Wind + Storage Project
Enel Green Power is developing an up to 375 MW wind + 185 MW storage project that will provide sustainable, affordable energy and positive economic impact to Garfield and Asotin Counties, Washington.
There are a few key ways the Cloudwalker Wind Project will generate benefits for surrounding communities:
- The Cloudwalker Wind Project is estimated to provide millions in local tax revenue that can be used to fund schools and infrastructure, directly benefiting the community
- The project will create many local jobs during the 1- to 2-year construction period, as well as a major boost to local business establishments
- Long-term, full-time jobs will be created for facility maintenance
- The project will generate zero emissions to produce power, promoting clean air and water and helping protect local habitats
- Upon completion, the project will co-exist with agricultural operations, allowing the current land-use to continue while providing an additional revenue stream to local farms
Our team collaborates with local community members and officials on every project to help generate value for everyone involved. Your input is valued and encouraged. Please don’t hesitate to contact the project’s development manager, Virginia Wiseman, with any questions about the project.
