Crockett Solar Project
The Crockett Solar Project, near Cordova Village in Talbot County, Maryland, has a targeted capacity of 60 MW of solar power. It is expected to produce enough carbon-free electricity to power over 8,259 Maryland households and avoid emissions of more than 54,554 tons of CO2 each year.
Our team has a proven record of developing solar and wind projects nationwide. We strive not only to be a good neighbor, but also to become a strong community partner by collaborating closely with landowners and civic leaders to create projects that benefit local residents.
Having an open dialogue with local residents is important to us, and we are dedicated to seeking community input and incorporating as much of that feedback as possible into our plans.

Community Impact
Economic Benefit
The project is expected to generate millions in tax revenue over its lifetime, which will benefit the local school district and other public services. The project will also create approximately 190 jobs during construction, and generate predictable, long-term income for landowners
Agricultural Presence
Agricultural presence can be maintained throughout the life of the project through native vegetation and other dual-use practices such as livestock grazing and bee pollination. This type of low-impact installation preserves farmland for its original use after project decommissioning.
Visual Impact
Compared to many other types of commercial development, low-profile solar panels present minimal visual impact. Vegetative screening will be added around the project.
Creating social and economic opportunities for local communities
