We are proud to stand side by side with local residents, skilled tradespeople and landowners as we bring hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars into local economies through our renewable energy projects.
Enel Green Power is developing the Fence Post solar and battery storage project that will provide sustainable, affordable energy, benefit the local economy and stabilize the electric grid for Navarro County residents in Texas.
There are a few key ways the Fence Post Solar + Storage Project will generate benefits for Navarro County:
This project is estimated to provide $35.6 million in local tax revenue that can be used to fund schools, road and bridge repairs, or other community infrastructure that benefits the Navarro County community
Construction will provide a direct economic impact to local businesses
Solar is one of the cheapest energy sources available today
Solar projects provide additional, stable income to local farmers who lease portions of their land to the project
Throughout every project, our team collaborates one-on-one with landowners and local officials to create projects that generate value for the entire community.
