Flat Rock Wind Project
Enel is developing an up to 300MW wind project that will provide sustainable, affordable energy, create jobs and benefit the local economy in Morton and Oliver Counties in North Dakota.
There are a few key ways the Flat Rock Wind Project will generate benefits for Morton and Oliver Counties:
- The Flat Rock Wind Project is estimated to provide tens of millions in local tax revenue
- The project will create jobs in both Morton and Oliver Counties during and after construction through facility maintenance
- The Flat Rock Wind Project will generate zero polluting emissions, protecting local habitats and promoting clean air and water
- Wind is considered low-impact land use, and this project’s turbines will coexist easily with agricultural land
Throughout every project, our team collaborates one-on-one with landowners and local leaders to create projects that generate value for the entire community. Enel Green Power has an established presence in North Dakota with the Lindahl and Aurora Wind Projects, and will work closely with Morton and Oliver Counties to support key priorities in both communities, as we’ve done in Tioga, ND.
