Sugar Pine Solar + Storage Project
Enel Green Power is developing a 300 MW solar + 150 MW storage project that will provide sustainable, affordable energy and a positive economic impact on Klamath County, Oregon.
There are a few key ways the Sugar Pine Solar Project will generate benefits for Klamath County:
- The Sugar Pine Solar Project is estimated to provide millions in local tax revenue that can be used to fund schools and infrastructure, directly benefiting the community
- The project will create local jobs during and after construction through facility maintenance
- The project will generate zero emissions, protect local habitats and promote clean air and water
- Solar is considered a low-impact land use and will not harm surrounding timber operations
Our team collaborates with local community members and officials on every project to help generate value for everyone involved. Your input is valued and encouraged. Please don’t hesitate to contact the project’s development manager, Virginia Wiseman, with any questions about the project.
