Impact on the community

Among the various initiatives to enhance the designated Site of National Interest in which Portoscuso is located, Enel Green Power has created the “Porta del Parco”, an energy-independent architectural structure whose purpose is to highlight the area's landscape and its environmental and cultural assets, as well as provide a cycling and pedestrian path.

Sardinia's green future

By providing renewable energy, the Portoscuso wind farm is contributing to the decarbonization of the island. The abundance of natural resources in the area – specifically wind, sun and water – makes it the perfect ally in the pursuit of a completely green Sardinia by 2030, in line with the Enel Group’s strategy.
