Spreading green energy throughout Brazil
The Morro do Chapéu Sul II wind facility, which consists of 84 wind turbines, is located in the state of Bahia, in northeastern Brazil. It is the second such project in the municipality of Morro do Chapéu and is contributing, together with the 172 MW of Morro do Chapéu Sul I, to a greener world through clean energy production. Once it is fully up and running, the 353 MW facility will be able to generate over 1.8 TWh per year while avoiding the emission of over 992 thousand tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
