Antonio Crisol Puertas is Head of Colombia and Central America for Enel Green Power & Thermal Generation, the Enel business line that deals with power generation from conventional and renewable sources.
The region, where Antonio has held this post since March 2024, has a broad portfolio of technologies covering thermal, hydro and photovoltaic processes, with an installed capacity of more than 4,000 MW, to which the 900 MW currently under construction will be added.
Antonio’s professional career began more than 25 years ago and it has always focused on the power generation sector with a policy of respect for the environment and communities. Antonio is a specialist in asset performance optimization. He is a great believer in the use of data to address emerging challenges in the sector, while maintaining a sustainable and adaptable approach to business and social needs.
Throughout his career, he has played an important role in the continuous improvement of the operation and maintenance of renewable and thermal power plants worldwide within the Enel Group, maximizing the operational efficiency of assets, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, as well as value creation in communities, while actively contributing to the energy transition.
Antonio is an industrial engineer specializing in energy with a degree from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He also received an MBA from the IE (Instituto de Empresa, or Enterprise Institute) Business School.
