Carlo Zorzoli

Head of Business Development

Carlo Zorzoli is Head of Business Development  of Enel Green Power and Head of Business Development for Enel Green Power and Thermal Generation.

He is in charge of development activities for both Enel Green Power and Enel’s thermoelectric business from an energy transition point of view, leading a strong and motivated team of almost 400 colleagues in 23 countries, on 5 continents.

Zorzoli has more than twenty years of experience in the energy sector. In 1996, he joined the Enel Group in the Distribution division. He has held several positions, dealing mainly with business development in electrical generation: both conventional and, primarily, renewable. His gained most of his experience in the Americas, working in the United States, Costa Rica, Brazil and Mexico, including covering the latter’s entry into the Group in 2007.

After holding the position of Head of Business Development for Iberia and Latin America at Enel Green Power until 2013, he was responsible for the management and maintenance of Enel Green Power’s Italian power plants until 2015, and then led Enel Green Power’s business in Latin America as Area Manager. In 2016, he became Brazil Country Manager for the Enel Group. In the 30 months he was in the position, he reorganized the management of Enel’s Brazilian business.

Carlo was born in Milan and has a degree in Electrical Engineering from La Sapienza University of Rome, as well as an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in North Carolina (USA).
