Luca Noviello is Head of Engineering & Construction for Enel Green Power & Thermal Generation, Enel's business line that deals with power generation from conventional and renewable sources.
He manages the Group’s renewable plant growth plan through the planning, design to cost, construction and commissioning of plants distributed worldwide.
Luca joined Enel in 1998, and after a brief experience as a consultant in the energy and environment sector, he held the role of business developer of generation plants in the Engineering and Construction Division in the international arena. He then held various positions of responsibility in the Audit Department, eventually becoming Audit Manager for the Generation and International Divisions. From 2007 to 2011, he was Head of Procurement for the Generation and Engineering Divisions. He was then appointed Head of Oil and Gas Plants in Italy and, after a stint leading the Human Resources Function of the Global Power Generation Business Line, he held the position of Head of O&M for Thermal Generation for 5 years, until April 2021. Prior to assuming his current position, he was Head of Procurement at Enel Green Power and Thermal Generation.
He graduated in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy from La Sapienza University in Rome. He holds a Master's degree in Economics and Management of Energy Sources from the LUISS School of Management and participated in the Executive Program for Leadership Development in Energy at Harvard Business School.
Luca is married and has two children. He enjoys running, cycling and sailing, and is a supporter of A.S. Roma. He is passionate about travel, movies and books, especially biographies.
